Stakeholders
MRD is the driving force bringing two epic light installations by Bruce Munro to the Mildura-Wentworth region.
MRD is looking for Expressions of Interest from key local community representatives that can provide important local feedback to the project team and/or advocate for Light/State when required.
Shareholding and commercial structure of the new vehicle is to be determined, however it will involve:
- Investors
- Operators
- Investor-operators
- Key Stakeholders
- Government & funding partners
Such is the importance of this project and it’s overall contribution to the local economy, a key component for the success of this project is the engagement with the local community and support from key stakeholders in the tourism, government and event sectors.
- Promote awareness of the project
- Facilitation of employment opportunities in the local community
- Engaging volunteers, students and educational institutions to support the implementation of this key artistic and cultural attraction
- Provide input, expertise and an ability to advocate for the project where appropriate
- Have an advisory role or potentially ex-officio role on the advisory board for this project
Eligibility
Interested parties are asked to submit portfolio of relevant experience and why this project is of interest.
Potential applicants will be assessed against a backdrop of experience and capability in supporting events, activities and initiatives that are important for the local community and economy.
